2022 FIFA U17 WWCQ: Flamingos to play Uganda or Ethiopia in the second round

Nigeria U17 women national team, the Flamingos will play either Uganda or Ethiopia in the second round of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Qualifiers for India 2022 FIFA U17 Women World Cup.

This was confirmed after the qualifiers draw on Monday, May 10, 2021, by CAF.

The Uganda U17 women national team has been drawn against Ethiopia in the 2022 FIFA U17 Women World Cup Qualifiers, India.

Uganda will start at round two, and the winner on aggregate will face Nigeria in the next qualifying round.

In the other fixtures, Eritrea will square up with South Sudan; Equatorial Guinea will trade tackles with Kenya, and DR Congo will settle scores with Rwanda.

In the West African region (WAFU A and B), Senegal will play Sierra Leone while Benin and Mauritanian will trade tackles.

The first leg will take place on January 13-15, 2022, with the return leg on January 27-29, 2022.
