Uganda U20 Women National Team head coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi has anticipated a tougher challenge from Tanzania than the one posed by Eritrea.

After claiming a 2-0 win against Eritrea on Wednesday evening, Uganda is set to play Tanzania at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on Saturday, November 6.

“We are playing Tanzania and I expect a much tougher game in that fixture,” Khalifa told the press in an interview.

“We are going to draw a plan on how best to approach the challenge ahead because we cannot afford to drop any point,” he added.

Khalifa’s charges are still on a 100% run having secured three wins in three games in the ongoing CECAFA U20 Women Championship at Njeru.

“The girls have done well. What I wanted was a win and good enough we claimed all points. I am happy because they stood to my expectations.”

“A lot of people expected more goals than we managed but every time we come to play, it is a different game so different teams stage different challenges,” he concluded.

Fauzia Najjemba continues to have a stellar tournament having scored in all the three games that Uganda has played.

In the first game, she scored a brace in the game against Burundi before she put six past struggling Djibouti and later scored one against Eritrea.

Khalifa will call for more of such great performances from Najjemba going forward as they face Tanzania.
