Arua Hill SC registered a comfortable 3-1 win over struggling side Tooro United in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at the Barifa Stadium on Sunday.
Alfred Leku, Samuel Ssekamatte and Media Innocent scored for the home side whereas Hussein Mwanje netted the visitors’ consolation.
Leku scored as early as the second minute of the game, Ssekamatte’s goal was in the 53rd minute while Innocent made it 3-0 in the 90th before Mwanje’s consolation in time added on from a penalty.
Leku has undoubtedly been the Leopards’ best player since they gained promotion scoring four goals and managing a couple of assists.
His four goals have come in the last four games, he was on target against Mbarara City FC, URA FC, Busoga United and now against Tooro United.
It was the second time that the two sides were meeting, the first since they both gained promotion at the start of the season and the Kongolo have won on both occasions.
Victory took Charles Livingstone Mbabazi’s charges to sixth place on the 16 team table with 13 points while Edward Golola’s coached side Tooro remained 15th on only four points.
Arua Hill will return to action on Friday, December 10 away to Soltilo Bright Stars FC whilst Tooro’s next game is at home against BUL FC on the same day.
