As the festive season draws closer, Uganda Cranes midfielder Allan Kateregga has pledged to lend a generous hand to the community.
The stylish trickster hopes to gift hampers, clothes, food, home ware and other stuff to the Namuwongo community in an event that will take place towards Christmas at Ray Of Hope School.
‘Dancing Rasta’ as so often his diehards call him, also plans to offer school fees bursaries to over ten students at Ray Of Hope. This will be in addition to the scholastic materials when schools finally open in January.
In the same vein, the outreach will include a sanitary drive where they will give free sanitary napkins or towels to the girl child, with education about menstruation on the cards too.
Kateregga and his team will also employ three women experts to educate young females about menstruation, their body changes, sex and the social impact of the broad topic.
All this is through his charity organizing, The Allan Kateregga Foundation in conjunction with African Empowerment Hub, Uganda.
The 27 year old trades his game in Democratic Republic of Congo at FC Lupopo, a side he joined in September 2021.
