Before match day six, Rines was the only club not to earn a single point in all the 10 FUFA Women Super League teams (FWSL).
She Makerere lost 2-1 to the visitors at Makerere University grounds as goals from Arachi Phionah and Yasmeen Nalukwago secured the three points for Rines.
Josephine Ndagire’s lone goal didn’t help the Makerere based outfit to acquire a win.
Although Rines got maximum points from this fixture, they still lie at the bottom of the table(10th) with 3 points and -12 goal difference from six games.
In the other matchday six games; At the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru log leaders Kampala Queens defeated Olila High School 2-0 on Sunday morning.
Kampala Queens’ goals were scored by Zaina Nandede and Resty Nanziri. Kampala Queens remain top of the FWSL log with 18 points unbeaten in 18 games.
The Nakawa based team She Corporates FC and Lady Doves WFC played to a one all draw on Saturday in Nakawa.
Nandera Everline put Doves in the lead in the seventh minute but Joanita Ainembabazi equalized in the 42th minute as both teams shared the spoils.
Another stalemate draw was from Asubo Gafford ladies FC and Kawempe Muslim WFC which ended 1-1. Shakirah Nyinagahirwa and Medina Nakayi scored for Kawempe and Gafford respectively.
Uganda Martyrs’ Kevin Nakacwa, Latifah Nakasi, Catherine Nagadya(P) and Sumaiyah Nalumu aided the Rubaga based outfit to a 4-1 win over former champions UCU Lady Cardinals.
UCU’s single goal was scored by Ashiat Nalugwa from a spot kick in the 53th minute for the game to end 4-1.
