Striker Patrick Kaddu, defenders Murushid Juuko and Bevis Mugabi have been named in Cranes starting eleven against Senegal ahead of Round of 16 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations clash on Friday night at Cairo International Stadium.
Kaddu and Mugabi were unused substitutes in Cranes 2-0 loss to Egypt while Juuko much as sat on the bench he was recovering from a hamstring injury.
This will be Juuko’s first start since the 2-0 win over DR Congo, in his absence, Ronald Mukiibi played alongside Hassan Wasswa in central defence in the one-all draw with Zimbabwe.
While Timothy Awany played together with Wasswa in the defeat to Egypt, Nicholas Wadada played at right back and not Mugabi in that one too.

Kaddu missed the game against Egypt as Emmanuel Okwi led the line along side Abdu Lumala and Allan Kyambadde in turns.
Captain Denis Onyango maintains his spot in goal, Mugabi and Godfrey Walusimbi will patrol the right and left fullback slots respectively with Wasswa and Juuko at the centre of defence.
Khalid Aucho and Mike Azira will play alongside Miya in midfield, with Okwi and Lumala on the wings as Kaddu leads the line.
Okwi is Uganda’ top scorer at the Nations Cup with two goals, Kaddu comes in with one, while Miya has two assists to his name, Lumala is the other with an assist.

This is the first meeting between the two sides at this stage, but the last was on June 5th 2017 in Dakar, the friendly ended in barren draw before Uganda won 1-0 in Cape Verde in the 2019 Nations Cup Qualifiers.
