At 1900hrs on Wednesday evening, the Arab Constructors Sporting Club Osman Ahmed Osam Stadium remained unbothered with just a few locals jogging on the sides.
The ambulance from the Ministry of Health Egyptian Ambulance Organisation already Parked in its spot while Ugandan journalists and those from elsewhere waited patiently for the Uganda Cranes to show up for training.
They didn’t, at least by 1930hrs even after it was communicated by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations early in the day that they would train at 1900hrs.
This comes after a meeting that was chaired by the minister of sports Charles Bakabulindi and commissioner from the Ministry of Education and Sports Omara Apitta at the team’s base at Raddison Blue Hotel in Cairo.
The other who attended the meeting included FUFA officials; Hamid Juma, Abdul Lukooya Ssekabira and the financial director, Decolas Kiiza.

Captain Dennis Onyango, Hassan Wasswa and Emmanuel Okwi represented the players in the meeting that seemed to have solved the situation.
On Wednesday morning FUFA confirmed paying players all their allowances between May 13th and June 30th which amount to U$14,600 (About UGX55M).
Uganda plays Senegal on July 5th, at the Round of 16 of the 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations.
