AFCON U17: Ajax and Manchester City battling for the signature of Tanzania’s Kelvin John

Tanzania national under-17 football team star Kelvin John have grabbed the attention of top European teams due to his superb goal scoring abilities and game intelligence.

Dutch outfits Ajax Amsterdam FC and Premier League giants Manchester City have reportedly made inquiries on the youngster and are therefore fighting for his signature according to afconu17tanzania.com

Over 20 agents across the football world are Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania to spot talents in the on-going U-17 Total Africa Cup of Nations.

With just two games played, Kelvin John was seen as one of the world’s top strikers in the future, he scored one of the goal in Tanzania’s 5-4 loss to Nigeria in their opening game on April 14th.

“Kelvin John has the attributes of a true striker with speed, skill and finishing instinct,” one of the agents confessed.

It is stated that Ajax and Manchester City are already in touch with the 15-year-old star’s guardian and parents as they pursue to secure his services.
