After starting the second round of the FUFA Elites Women’s League on a high against Gafford Ladies, Ajax Queens will again be looking at brilliant performance as they host resilient Muteesa on Saturday at Buddo SS.

A win against Muteesa will see Ajax pile pressure on second placed Lady Doves with just four points behind in Victoria Group.

However, Muteesa will be looking for a double over the Queens for the first time after winning the reverse fixture 2-0 at IUIU in kaboja.

This game means a lot to both teams with Muteesa sitting fourth with eleven points just one point behind Ajax in third.

“We are out of women cup and that means we have one major trophy to fight for and that is the league,” Queens’ head coach Michael Natima told www.football-256.com.

“We have to put a lot of focus on the league and maybe try to make the playoffs and see how far we can go from there. because Muteesa is a strong team with probably the same target as us.”

Natima’s counterpart, Augustine Walusimbi who is also a player at Fufa Big League side Wakiso Giants believes the game will not be easy at all as the queens will be looking for revenge against them.

“We are going to play Ajax Queens, a team we respect because they have good players and good administration and play good football too.”

“Our priority will be defending as a unit as we wait to get them on the break,” Walusimbi said.
