For the fourth successive year, Ugandan international Edrisa Lubega will play in the Austrian Liga 2.
This comes after a very consistent and hardworking season that saw Reid miss out on promotion to the Austrian Bundesliga on the final day of the season despite defeating Juniors 00 3-1 at the Josko Arena in Reid City last weekend.
Coming into the final day, Reid hoped their direct competitors Watterns would drop points as they took care of their own business.
It wasn’t the case as they (Watterns) humbled Horn 1-3 away from home to emerge champions thus promotion to the top tier on 65 points, two ahead of Reid.
Out of the 30 league matches this season, Lubega was involved in 18 games, came on as a substitute 11 times, started six games coming off and playing full time once with one goal.
He joined SV Reid at the start of the 2018/19 season from Floridsdorfer AC a side he joined from Proline FC.
