Uganda Cranes’ right back Nicolas Wadada is smiling all the way to the bank after Azam FC decided to renew his contract for a further year.
Wadada who joined the Tanzanian moneybags at the start of last season from Vipers Sports Club has managed four assists and one goal this season so far something his employers have noted and decided to appreciate.
While announcing the news, Azam FC’s CEO Mr Abdulrahman Amin revealed it’s because of the extra effort Wadada has always had that got him a contract extension.
“Today Azam has decided to renew Nicholas Wadada’s contract for a further year, we believe he deserves it because of the effort he has displayed,” Amin is quoted saying via the club’s Facebook page.
Azam are second on the log in the Tanzanian Premier league with 26 points after 13 games played, they are eight points behind league leaders Simba SC.
