The 31-year-old is set to pen a six month deal with struggling side Proline FC. Both club and player have agreed to terms after a successful medical on Thursday morning.
Umony who spent six months at Express FC towards the end of last season managed five goals in eight games in all competitions but later left for a brief stint in Vietnam.
Proline who recently lost striker Ivan Bogere in unfamiliar circumstances will hope the experienced Umony will provide the necessary support needed to avoid the drop.
