BUL force draw against Villa to go fourth

By Clive Kyazze

Since losing 3-1 and 2-1 to SC Vipers and KCCA FC respectively at the FUFA Technical Centre Njeru, BUL had tried to make sure every team that visits them toys to get a result.

SC Villa was not going to be the third team to defeat the Jinja side at home much as the 16 time champions are coming off two impressive wins lately.

SC Villa found a savior in Pius Wanji since Bashir Mutanda’s form eluded him, the former gave them the lead minute to half time.

That lead was cancelled out by James Otim in the 68th minutes, but BUL couldn’t pick a third straight win at home.

The win takes BUL to fourth on the log with 31 points, a point behind Onduparaka who picked three important points in Kakyeka with their 2-1 against Mbarara City.

SC Villa are far from being safe, they lie 12th on 22 points seven behind Ndejje Lions whose 4-3 win against Tooro United couldn’t give them breathing space.
