Stanbic Uganda Cup champions, BUL FC have completed the signing of midfielder Anthony Mayanja from Eastern region rivals Busoga United.
Mayanja, who penned a two-year contract with the Oil Manufacturers, becomes their fifth signing in the ongoing transfer window.
Upon being unveiled on Wednesday, Mayanja was full of fighting talk, asserting how ready he is to guide the club to future glory.
“I am excited to join the winning team,” he started in interview with the Club’s Media.
“BUL won the Uganda cup last season and I come to provide more efforts so that we can win more trophies in the coming seasons.”
“I am ready for the task at hand especially in the CAF confederation cup, even if the competition is not easy, we are going there to compete, not to participate.”
Mayanja joins Frank Kalanda, Ronald Otti, Emmanuel Obua and Tom Ikara, all of which have been part of the summer signing spree.
The Club continue to strengthen ahead of their maiden continental exploits in the forthcoming CAF Confederation Cup.
