Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have learnt their CAF Champions League group stage journey, getting pitted in Group C alongside three others.
The Venoms have been pooled along with Tanzanian giants Simba SC, Guinea’s Horoya Athletic, and three-time champions, Raja Casablanca of Morocco.
In just their first-ever group stage appearance at the continent, the five-time Ugandan champions will begin with a trip to Rabat against Raja between February 10th-11th.
Vipers will then host Horoya at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende between February 17th-18th, before hosting Simba a week later.
Between March 7th-8th, the Venoms will visit Simba SC, host Raja between March 17th-18th, and conclude with Horoya in Guinea between March 31st-April 01st.
To make this round, Vipers eliminated five-time champions league winners TP Mazembe in the first round via a penalty shootout victory in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo.
That was after they had thrashed Central African Republic side, Olympic Real De Bangui after a 4-0 aggregate win.
