Two second howlers by Wakiso Giants Cleo Settuba goalkeeper gifted Kireka United with two goals in the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 tie played at Namboole Stadium on Tuesday.
It was 2-2 after the final whistle, but in spot kicks is when Ssetuba turned hero, saving one from 12 yards to help his side advance 5-4 in spot kicks.

After the goalless first half, Feni Ali came off the bench to give Wakiso Giants the lead with a beautiful volley off a well weighed cross by Isaac Ntege in the 52nd minute.
Ten minutes later, Settuba failed to clear an aerial ball, caught off his line, Umar Mbowa cleared the ball in an empty net as Kireka leveled matters.
Two minutes later, Settuba was at it again, he punched an aerial ball in Kamada ‘Ndiefi’ Ssebagala, way, caught off his line, Ndiefi also kicked a long one to make it 2-1.

Abukarim Kasule was another who came off the bench to level matters for Wakiso Giants, the goal was a sigh of relief for many Wakiso Giants.
Some had even left the stadium but wild cheers forced them back into the stadium and held their breathe throughout the spot kicks session.
Wakiso Giants’ efforts to land a silverware this season seem to be intact as they advance to the round of 16.
