KCCA FC registered a thrilling 5-1 win over Proline FC in both teams build-up game played at the StarTimes stadium, Lugogo on Wednesday ahead of the CECAFA Kagame Cup in Rwanda.
Allan Okello, Saddam Juma, Mike Mutyaba, Achai Herbert and Jackson Nunda were all on target for the Uganda Premier League champions whereas Ivan Bogere scored the lonely goal for Proline FC.
Prior to the tournament in Rwanda that starts on July 6th till July 20th, both teams named their star-studded line ups for proper preparations.
KCCA will go into this year’s championship with a huge motivation being the defending champions of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Same applies to Proline FC who are at their greatest peak ever having won a double last season.
Proline won the FUFA Big league together with the Stanbic Uganda Cup hence earning a place in the continental football for the first time ever.
KCCA won this tournament way back in 1978 and their last featuring was in 2015, they finished third whereas their counterparts Proline will play at their maiden tournament.
Both teams are expected to set off for the Rwandan Capital Kigali later on today for further preparations for a tournament that kick starts on 6th July.
