StarTimes Uganda Premier League Champions KCCA FC will face the defending champions of the CECAFA Kagame Cup in Azam FC next month.
The two teams are pooled in group B of the competetion that kickoffs on July 6th till 21st in Rwanda.
The other Ugandan representative Proline FC will face Rwanda giants APR FC in group C following the draws that were conducted on Friday afternoon in Kigali, Rwanda.
Mukura FC from Rwanda and Bandari FC from Kenya are the other clubs that complete group B while Zambia’s Green Bufaloes and Somalia’s Heegan FC complete group C.

KCCA FC began preparations for the tournament earlier this week on Monday while Proline began this morning with a gym session at Club 5 in Makerere.
Tanzanian side Azam FC that is also home for Ugandan right back Nicholas Wakiro Wadada are the defending champions having defeated fellow Tanzanians Simba FC 2-1 at the National Stadium in 2018.
