Uganda Cranes winger Abdu Lumala could be on his way to one of the top clubs in Belgium, Football256 understands.
Last week, the Pyramids FC player left Egypt and went to Sweden where he connected to Brussels, Belgium and this website understands that he is there for a potential move to one of the giant sides.
A source close to the player disclosed to Football256; “Yes, Lumala is in Brussels, Belgium for a possible move to one of the clubs here.”
However, there is also a big possibility of the player going to Germany according to the source.
“There are also offers for Lumala in Germany and he will also go there as options are being weighed to see what’s best for him,” the source revealed further.
The pacey winger recently came out to reveal via social media giving a hint that he could be on his way out of Pyramids when he made clear his desire of playing in Europe again.
Lumala also narrated of how the Egyptian game and style of play under Pyramids Croatian coach Ante Čačić doesn’t quite fit his game.
Lumala joined Pyramids at the start of the 2019/2020 season following impressive performances of the Uganda Cranes at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament held in Egypt.
While in Sweden, the 22-year-old enjoyed a relatively successful five-year stint at Mjallby AIF, Kalmar FF, Varbergs Bols, Helsingborg IF and Syrianska FC.
