Former Cranes coach Mulitin ‘Mcho’ Sredejovic is ready to start work as the new head coach of Egyptian football giants Zamalek.
Micho who resigned at the Premier Soccer League outfits Orlando Pirates last week was officially unveiled as the head coach of the reigning champions of the Total CAF Confederation Cup.
And going by his first initial submission, there won’t be any room of slipping up, but to make sure the star continues to shine for the 12-time Egyptian league champions.
“The club has all the success factors,” Micho said on Monday morning after his official unveiling before adding.
“We have a fantastic squad. The best Tunisian players, the best three Moroccan players, in addition to the Egyptian ones.
“Zamalek is a special club that you fall in love with as soon as you enter it. I want to work hard in order to achieve the fans’ goals,” he added.
The former SC Villa coach also reminded the journalists present about his African adventure which makes him a suitable candidate for the job.
“I have been coaching in Africa for 19 years. I have worked in seven countries and visited 50 out of 54 African countries, but today I can say that my dream has come true after taking charge of Zamalek,” Micho said.
Micho’s first assignment will be in the 2019/2020 CAF Champions League return leg against Dekedaha in Egypt, the first leg ended 7-0 at the Borg El Arab Stadium, Alexandria
