After the release of up to eight players, the massive departure of players continues, Express FC has on Monday afternoon announced the release of three other players from their squad.
Through their club official website www.expressfc.co.ug, the Wankulukuku based club unconfined Arthur Kiggundu, Badru Nsubuga and Mubarak Nsubuga, these are now free agents and can sign for any club.
According to the information on the website, the players and their representatives failed to agree with the contract extension bids provided to them by the club.
The three has joined Mathias Muwanga, Shafik Kakeeto, Ibrahim Kayiwa, Joel Male, Pius Mbidde, Charles Musoke, Tony Odur and their captain Isaac Mutanga who were also released by the club last week.
However, to many spectators this is not a surprise as Express FC is known for changing its squad season per season, they tend to release old players at the end of every season and recruit new ones.
Express under George Ssimwogerere are in pursuit of transforming as they are looking forward at releasing all the players whom they think are not good enough for the club.
The club wants to keep good players like John Revita whose contract also expires in June and recruit new ones to replace those who are released from the club in order to bring back the glory days at the Betway Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku.
The Red Eagles are trophy thirsty at the moment, their last major trophy came in 2012 when they claimed their sixth Uganda Premier League championship.
