Forward Ezra Bida is has agreed to join Kyetume FC from Arua based Onduparaka, Football256 has learnt.
Bida, a free agent is understood to have put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the Slaughters until 2022 and will reunite with former Onduparaka coach Livingstone Mbabazi.
Onduparaka and Bida have held talks over a contract renewal, but the talks had reached a stall with the player demanding to have a sign on fee attached to a new contract which the Caterpillars were reluctant to meet.
“We’ve had verbal talks and I have made my intentions known to them (Onduparaka),” Bida exclusively told this website earlier this month.
“However, they haven’t tabled a contract for me yet. When I get to view the contract and it satisfies me, then I will decide,” he added.
Kyetume preyed on the stall in negotiations to move ahead and hold talks with the player including attaching an undisclosed sign-on fee for the player.
Bida joined Onduparaka in 2017/18 aged 17. He has gone on to score only five goals in three seasons as he has struggled for playing time with injuries limiting him.
