Kirinya Jinja SSS FC Junior Team continued with their chase for a top spot in Hat Trick group of the U19 FUFA Juniors League with a 5-1 away win against Tooro United FC JT at Bishop SS Mukono.
Edwine Opaala grabbed a brace for a team that lies third on the log to take his season tally to 10 goals, Jimmy Ndilamba, Fred Massa and Isma Mugulusi scored the others. Tooro’s consolation goal was scored by Joel Ivan Okello.
In the same group, second-placed Mbarara City JT wrecked struggling SC Villa Joogo JT 3-0 at Kakyeka, Rogers Mugisha grabbed two while Allan Katusiime got the others. Mbarara take their points tally to30, two behind table leaders BUL FC JT.
BUL FC JT needed one special moment from Hillary Onek to pick maximum points from Nyamityobora FC JT, while Shafic Kakande scored the all-important goal as Bright Stars FC JT sailed past Express FC JT 1-0.
In Treble group, table leaders KCCA FC SA settled for a one all draw with Maroons FC JT at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo. Tournament leading scorer Sadat Anaku scored for the home side to take his tally 22 in 13 games this season while Samuel Omari scored for the visitors.

Vipers SC JT smashed URA FC JT 5-0 at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende. Najib Yiga got three for himself to take his tall to 14, Bobosi Byaruhanga and Abdul Yasin Owane scored the other two.
Derrick Kakooza scored twice as Police Armless Brigade acquired a 2-1 away win against Paidha Black Angels FC JT, Brian Ofoyrwoth scored for the home team.
Onduparaka FC JT found it easy at home winning 3-1 against Ndejje University FC JT, the home team scored through Taban Clement, John Rogers and an own goal by Abdul Issa, Ndejje university’s only goal was scored by Brian Ojok.
KCCA FC SA remained on the top of Treble group with 38 points just two points above second-placed Vipers SC JT who have a game in hand, Police Armless Brigade bottoms the table with 11 points from 13 outings.
