KCCA FC is looking forward to strengthening the squad for the 2022/23 season and it has offered auditions to a bunch of foreign players.

There is a host of new faces at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo and it is reported that the majority are Congolese nationals.

They must consider themselves lucky and blessed players because part of their trials was drills from Mamelodi Sundowns joint head coach Rulani Mokwena who was on a five-day visit to KCCA.

Former Proline FC defender Mustafa Mujuzi is a familiar face in the auditions.

Midfielder Moses Waiswa is the only confirmed new signing at Lugogo so far after he put pen to paper on a two-year deal.

The Morley Byekwaso coached side travelled to Burundi on Wednesday, June 22 where they have been invited to take part in the Nkurunziza Cup in commemoration of the late Pierre Nkurunziza, the former president of Burundi.

KCCA will play against Aigle Noir SC in the opening of the latter team’s stadium, the Nkurunziza Peace Park Complex.

The Kasasiro Boys will be in Burundi for five days that is between June 22 to June 27.
