Former Vipers striker Oyirwoth urgently needs knee surgery, appeals to public

Vipers forward Daniel Oyirwoth has made a humble but loud appeal to the football fraternity and the general public to help him raise the shs32,000,000 required to operate his knees.

The pacy striker is suffering career-ending knee problems that urgently need surgery according to CORSU, a health facility that deals with bones and muscles.

“I humbly appeal to the football people and the general public to help me with funds that will be used for the surgery of my two knees,” he cried out.

In case he successfully takes the knife, the doctors confirmed the 26 year old could still play football again. He played an integral part for the Venoms as they clinched the 2014/15 Uganda premier league trophy.

Despite lately playing at Nsambya FC, he has as well featured for Masaka Local Council, Express FC, Bul Bidco FC and Kenyan side Tusker.

He is however remembered more for captaining the famous Bishop Nankyama “commandos” to the Copa Coca-Cola championship in 2010 at the Masaka Recreational Grounds.
