Makerere University Women football team head coach Fred Ndawula praised his players after the 5-0 win against Echoes High School in the second semifinal of the FUFA Women Cup on Monday.
Makerere University will play Lady Doves, the latter defeated She Corporate 4-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw at MUBs on Sunday. In the process, they booked a ticket to the first final just like their opponents Lady Doves
“I thank my players who gave in everything and followed instructions to see us through to the first ever final of the FUFA Women Cup,” Ndawula told www.fotoball-256.com.
“Like any coach you feel happy when your team is winning and for that am happy. We are not going to finals to participate we want to win the trophy and that’s what we going to work for,” he added.
Amina Nababi scored a brace for Makerere, Rebecca Nakasato, Madinah Nakayi and Samalie Nakamate scored the others to complete 5-0 win for the visitors.
