FWC: Battle of the titans as Isra face Kampala Queens

As the round of 32 of the third edition of the Fufa Women Cup returns, Isra will entertain Kampala Queens in a game expected to be of high tension at Kawempe on Saturday.

Kampala Queens head coach Faridah Bulega is optimistic her side will go through to next round in normal time, as her side have a good record against Isra.

“We expect a good game and am hopeful my side will eliminate Isra because even my players are anxious and ready to win this game,” Bulega told www.football-256.com before adding.

“The game will not be easy but at the same time easy because this is not the first time we are meeting.”

“We have a good record against Isra though we have never gone past this stage in the last two editions,” she noted.

This is the first meeting between the two sides in the competition but their fifth in all competitions.

Isra will be looking for their first win against Kampala Queens since their promotion in 2017.

The Isma Nkugwa coached side come into this game with all eyes on their talisman Fauzia Najjemba who scored and created another in their two all draw against Kampala Queens in the league. 

Nkugwa expects the game to be tough but his side will make sure they reach the next stage.

“The game will not be easy for us as they have a good record over us but we are at home and we will try to be the difference.”

“We do have players who can make a difference and we are going to make sure we go past this stage and you know what I mean,” he told this website.
