Olila High School once again put pressure back to teams that are fighting for playoffs spots in the Elizabeth Group after their comfortable 2-0 win against Isra Soccer Academy on Saturday.

Cicilia Apiding scored first for the visitors in her first start for Olila this season before Amoding Ziporosa doubled the lead which also sealed the victory for the visitors.

Isra Soccer Academy tried to fight back through their season’s top scorer Fauzia Najjemba but her efforts were not enough to inspire her team back into the game.

Olila’s head coach Sadam Mpande praised his players for a good display on the day which saw his side react well after the home loss to Uganda Martyrs last weekend in Soroti.

“We played well and according to our tactics, for that I thank my players for paying attention to game plan,” Mpande told www.football-256.com.

“Am happy to see my team back to winning ways and back in a playoffs spots and we will fight very hard to see our team back to playoffs.”

Isra skipper Shamira Nalugya put her team’s loss to injuries suffered by senior players in their last game against Lango Queens in mid-week.

“We lost like any other team would lose but I think if players were fit enough to play and with no injuries, we would have shown a big difference.”

“We are going to play to finish the league, I see no more chance for us to be in this season’s playoffs, or we should wait for miracles to happen,” Nalugya added.
