FWSL: Aluka, Aarakit guide Olila past Isra in a single sided encounter

Olila High School easily earned a 3-1 win against Isra Soccer Academy to go second in group B of the FUFA Women Super League at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru on Wednesday.

Grace Aluka scored twice while Dorcus Aarakit scored the other to help Olila High School register their first win in the tournament.

It took only fourteen minutes for Olila to break the deadlock. Grace Aluka converted from the spot to place his side in the driving seat.

Olila geared up with continuous attacks and in the 20th minute, Isra’s custodian Brenda Kwaka pulled off a spectacular save to keep the score at 1-0.

In the 27th minute, Olila’s continuous attack finally yielded. Arrakit got his name on the scoring sheet to extend Olila’s lead.

At half-hour mark, Isra forced Olila’s custodian Eglas Ajumo into two crucial saves to keep her side’s lead intact.

Aluka completed her double on the day with a header from Amoding’s well laid cross from the right.

The result sends Olila High School in the second place with four points from three games while Isra Soccer Academy remain at the bottom of the log without a point or goal.

Isra Soccer Academy play UCU Lady Cardinals on Friday April 30, while Olila’s last group game will be against UCU Lady Cardinals on Saturday May 1, 2021.
