Gavin Kizito could be on his way to Egypt

Uganda Cranes defender Gavin Kizito could be on his way to Egyptian side Alitihad Alexandria.

Alitihad posted an image on their Instagram page welcoming Gavin Kazito and indicator that the move would be done and dusted.  

Kizito a product of the FUFA Junior League also captained Uganda at the U17 and U20 Africa Cup of Nations in 2017 and 2020 respectively is expected to sign a deal in the coming days at the Egyptian side. 

Kizito spent the last three years at SC Villa but both parties failed to agree on terms that would see him renew his stay at the 16 time league champions. 

Alitihad was once home for Uganda Cranes captain Emmanuel Okwi and his assistant Khalid Aucho after the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
