Following his Vipers’ exit, goalkeeper Derrick Ochan has completed a move to Police Football Club on a one-year deal, Football256 has learnt.
The goalkeeper confirmed his exit from Vipers at the beginning of the week citing limited playing time at the Kitende-based club.
Last season, Ochan was limited to only 270 minutes of action, playing just three games.
Police targeted Ochan during the January transfer window and nearly secured a loan move for the shot-stopper before the deal fell through as Vipers decided against letting Ochan leave.
The 22-year-old custodian comes in as Davis Mutebi’s replacement who left Police FC and signed for BUL FC on Friday.
The Abdallah Mubiru coached side is in the process of strengthening their squad ahead of the 2020/2021 season.
Ochan becomes the Cops’ eighth signing in the transfer window joining Eric Ssenjobe, Hassan Muhamood, Sammon Oloka, Muwadda Mawejje, Tom Ikara, Tonny Mawejje and Arnold Ssembuya.
