Alex Isabirye is no stranger to Nyamityobora Football, especially in the technical capacity, although mainly as a coach in the past.
The Mbarara based club Nyamityobora FC confirmed Isabirye’s appointment as the clubs technical director on a three year deal and he is already bracing himself for the new assignment.
“I have been invited to come and help us and see that the club achieves its goals this season,” Isabirye told www.football-256.com.
“Well I can’t confirm whether I will be the man conducting the training sessions or even sitting on the bench much as job entails me to do,” he added.
Much as Isabirye and Nyamityobora have agreed verbally, he is yet to put pen to paper and it should also be noted that he is the head coach at FUFA Big League side Kyetume FC.
“There are some issues between me and Kyetume’s administration which we are still working on, I will announce on Thursday whether I continue with them or I permanently leave them,” he noted.
Nyamityobora lost their head coach Asaph Mwebaze last week after his resignation due to club’s poor results and internal fights and wrangles.
Nyamityobora currently are 15th with 12 points on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League log, having managed just three wins in 19 matches with 3 draws and 13 losses in the run.
