South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has officially appointed Ugandan international, Jean Ssenide as a consultant for South Sudan Women’s Football on a four-year contract.
Ssenide, a consultant from FIFA will be working to implement SSFA’s four year Women’s Football Strategy on a sensitisation plan starting with the month of October, 2020.
“I am extremely humbled for the exciting new opportunity” Ssenide posted on her Facebook account before adding:
“As the South Sudan Football Association Women’s football consultant, I can’t wait to help take women’s football in South Sudan to another level, together with the whole team.”
Ssenide sits on the CAF Women’s Football Committee and also a member of Common Goal Organisation and the Proprietor and CEO of Ssenide Foundation
Sseninde is an active footballer currently playing for Wakefield Trinity Ladies FC in the English Lower league but previously played for Crystal Palace and Queen’s Park Rangers.
