One of the strongest weapons of achievers is belief, this is the same case with KCCA FC striker Patrick Henry Kaddu.
The Uganda Cranes international has it in mind that he can still be the StarTimes Uganda Premier League topscorer at the end of the season.
“My target was to be the topscorer though there are some players who are ahead of but I am still focused because games are still there,” Kaddu said after his team’s 2-0 win against Paidha Black Angels.
The striker scored his 10th goal of the season, he is nine goals behind leading scorer Juma Balinya who seems to be scoring for fun lately with four games to go.
“I just need to keep on believing, I play for a team that creates chances, if I get playing time, I just need to utilize the opportunities created,” Kaddu added.
It means that Kaddu has to score two hat tricks and two braces in the remaining four games if he is to achieve this feat and pray that Balinya doesn’t score again.
Kaddu’s late strike from the spot kick and Muzamiru Mutyaba’s thunderbolt kept the Lugogo based club in the title race, though they sent Paidha Black Angels back to the FUFA Big League
“The game wasn’t very easy, as a team we struggled a bit in the first half. But in the second half we came back with positive minds that’s why we were able to grab the three points,” he noted.
KCCA FC play Express next on April 20th at the StarTimes Lugogo a game that will put them in touching distance of the title.
