Uganda Cranes forward Patrick Kaddu is moments away from completing a deal to join Kenya Premier League giants Gor Mahia FC from FUFA Big League outfit Kitara FC.
The star joins former Cranes head coach Johnathan Mckinstry, as the latter occupies a similar role at Gor Mahia.
The aforementioned developments were confirmed by Kitara, who made it public knowledge Kaddu would depart for Kenya on Tuesday.
“Our player Patrick Kaddu will be flying to Kenya to complete negotiations with Gor Mahia FC on Tuesday next week,” said Kitara on the social media platforms.
Kaddu joined the Big League leaders at the start of the current 2022/23 campaign, following the end of his fruitless short spell at KCCA FC.
With Kitara, the marksman has been in the form of his life and at the end of the first round, he had scored 15 goals in as many games.
Gor Mahia has over the years been home to Ugandan talent, with the likes of Geoffrey Walusimbi, Shafik Batambuze, Dan Sserunkuma, and Khalid Aucho among others, all trading there their game.
