After three years together, winger Allan Kayiwa has parted ways with his employers and five-time Uganda Premier League champions, Vipers SC.
Having joined in 2019 from Tooro United, the exciting dribbler has left St Mary’s Stadium a two-time league champion.
“Once a Venom, always a Venom. Thank you Vipers,” he bade farewell via his Twitter account.
Kayiwa won the league in his maiden season at Kitende, in 2019/20 and repeated the feat two years later (2021/22).
He also won the 2021 Uganda Cup under the guidance of head coach Roberto Oliveira.
He was short of playing time in the preceding campaign, and hopes to find more at his new destination.
Reports have indicated interest from URA FC while others have pointed at move to either of Tanzania or Rwanda.
Kayiwa is a product of Soana Young, Tooro United’s feeder side and he broke on to the local scene in 2015.
He was part of the Uganda Cranes team that took part in the 2019 COSAFA Cup under the guidance of Police FC head coach Abdallah Mubiru.
