Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) put eight past Onduparaka FC on Tuesday to break their own Stadium League scoring record.
Mike Mutebi’s side had previously managed seven goals in a single league game at Lugogo twice thrashing Onduparaka 7-0 in February 2017 and against URA in a 7-2 win in April 2018.
But on matchday two of the 2020/21 StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) season KCCA demolished Onduparaka yet again 8-0 to surpass their previous record at home.
Brian Aheebwa scored four goals on the day to add on Samuel Ssenyonjo’s first career hattrick and Herbert Achai’s goal.
However, the biggest winning margin at Lugogo came via a 9-0 thumping of Synergy FC in the 2017/2018 Stanbic Uganda Cup.
The above score lines are rare ones that you might even take long to see again at Lugogo but we wait to see how long it will take for the Kasasiro Boys to set another scoring record.
KCCA’s next game at home is against Mbarara City FC on Friday, December 11.
