KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi has always spoken with strong character and believe, you don’t have to believe him, as long as he believes it’s possible, that all that matters to him.
KCCA FC take on AS Otoho on Sunday at Lugogo in the return leg of the 2018/2019 Total CAF Confederation Cup playoff after losing the first leg 3-0 and will need at least four goals without response from Otoho to advance.
It’s a very possible achievement because it has happened before, can KCCA FC join that class, many don’t believe they can, but that doesn’t matter as long as Mutebi believes and has forced the same ideology in the minds of his players.
“We believe that we can do it, we can better those (3) goals,” Mutebi told www.football-256.com on Friday before adding.
“We have the capacity to correct the errors and my players have the belief to overturn the result. These players have gathered enough experience and know how to negotiate such ties, and it’s achievable.”
In their debut season on the continent last year, Otoho won 2-0 against MC Algiers in Congo before going on to lose 9-0 in Algeria.

Maybe KCCA FC have a small space in a window that they can use to escape this situation that they put themselves into during the first leg.
KCCA FC struggled to cope up with the physique of the Otoho players, there was mismatch in the body sizes and that reflected in the different duels the Lugogo side.
“I saw them play in Congo and I noticed how reckless they are in tackles, it will be the work of the Referee to protect my good players in such situations and we will also have to punish them in such set pieces obtained,” Mutebi said.
“We didn’t cause them enough problems, we started a little bit slow and we were away from home. They will come to play in a measured manner, they will want to sit back and get us on the break but are prepared to open them up,” he added.
KCCA FC are aiming at a third straight appearance in the group stages of a CAF interclub competition, Otoho are desperate for their first.
