On Saturday December 8th, 2018 KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi marked 100 league games against Ndejje Lions at the StarTimes Stadium Lugogo.
The brief function was performed by the outgoing executive director Jennifer Musisi Ssemakula just before kickoff.
The three time FUFA coach of the year was decorated with a plaque handed over by the ED who was accompanied by the club chairman Aggrey Ashaba, former chairman Julius Raymond Kabugo and club director but also the Mayor of Makindye Ali Kasirye Nganda Mulyanyama.
The match also happened to be the sendoff game for the ED who will be handing over office on Thursday.
After a barren first half, KCCA FC turned table around when Muzamir Mutyaba came off the bench to connect a Mustafa Kizza cross in the 54th minute.
It took Ndejje nine minutes to level matters, Anwar Ntege rose highest to node home a beautiful cross from the right.
Muwada Mawejje who had also come off the bench capitalized on a loose ball and connected it as KCCA FC gained their lead in the 73rd minute.
Pilsner Man of the match Steven Serwadda put the result beyond reach in the 77th minute off a Mustafa Kizza cross.
KCCA FC maintained their status on top of the summit of the 16 team log on 24 points, while Ndejje dropped to 14th and still on seven points.
They play Express FC next at the Betway Mutesa II Stadium at Wankulukuku on December 11th before their first leg of 2018/2019 Total CAF Confederation Cup first round tie against Mtibwa Sugar.
