After their one-all stalemate with Vipers in their previous game, KCCA will have to solve another puzzle that involve Paidha Black Angels this time around at Bar Okoro Stadium on Tuesday to keep their title hopes alive.
The Kasasiro Boys are on top of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League summit with 53 points, four ahead of second placed Vipers as the league nears the end.
“We want to take this game more seriously, we need to win this game after that draw against Vipers,” KCCA FC assistant coach Morley Byekwaso said in the pre-match press conference.
“We are ready and prepared for the game, we are prepared the minds of our players for a win, because it’s important. Our target is to win all the remaining games as we are targeting a league title,” he added.
The Lugogo based club however will not be with their leading scorer Mike Mutyaba (10 goals) who tore his ligament their game against Vipers.
“We shall miss him because he has been performing well but as KCCA FC we have depth in squad, so we have many players in Patrick Kaddu, Saddam Juma and Allan Kyambadde who can replace him,” Byekwaso noted.
Paidha Black Angels have lost all of their last five games played in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, the latest being a 2-0 loss to Express FC at Betway Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku, they are currently on the bottom of the table.
KCCA on the other hand, have managed two wins, two draws and one loss in their last five league games.
