On loan KCCA FC players in goalkeeper Hassan Matovu, right back James Begesa and midfielder Ibrahim Wammanah have extended their stay at Proline FC for another season.

Following a fruitful 2018/19 season at Proline that saw them help the club gain promotion to the top flight as well as winning the Stanbic Uganda, KCCA FC wanted them back.

But looks like after negotiations with Proline it was agreed that they should stay on at least for one more season.

“I am really glad to stay at Proline FC for yet another season which I believe will help me a lot grow my career,” Matovu told www.football-256.com before adding.

“Most people at KCCA FC including goalkeeping coach Kiwanuka wanted me to stay at Proline where I’m the first choice and continue growing.”

Matovu came into the goal posts at a tricky time of the season, Saidi Keni had departed for to SC Villa and indeed he didn’t disappoint, ably filling the void.
