Lugogo based outfit KCCA FC will be looking to stretch their might against UPDF FC on Wednesday in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

The Kasasiro Boys visit the Bombo Military Grounds intending to repeat their first leg feat where they beat the Army side 6-1 at Lugogo.

Forwards Sadat Anaku and Charles Lwanga bagged braces each on that occasion with Ashraf Mugume and an own goal from Joseph Vuni provided the rest of the damage.

Morley Byekwaso’s side has as well beaten their hosts an impressive five times out of their previous seven encounters. They have lost and drawn once since 2015.

In returning to winning ways on Saturday, KCCA beat Kyetume FC 2-0 courtesy of Julius Poloto and Sam Ssenyonjo’s strikes. The victory ended a run of three winless fixtures.

On the road, they have endured a run of indifferent results. In the last five, they have only won once, drawn and lost twice.

On the other hand, UPDF extended their winless streak to four with a defeat at the hands of third-placed Express FC. They have not won in four games now.

KCCA will be without the services of striker Brian Aheebwa who will sit out for the rest of the season. Musa Ramathan will not feature as well as long time absentee John Revita.

On a positive note, Byekwaso will welcome back teenager Steven Sserwadda from injury. Striker Charles Lwanga also returns for this particular encounter.

A victory will take them to 44 points but will stay in their familiar fourth position heading into the final bend of the season. UPDF who are safe from relegation will stay in their seventh position and go to 36 points if they win at home.s
