Kenyan Premier League side, Bandari has completed the signing of two players ahead of 2019/20 league campaign that kicks off in August.
The KPL runners up have raided Zoo FC for top midfielder Danson Chetambe who has signed a three-year deal with the Mombasa based out
“I can confirm that Chetambe has joined us on a three-year deal. He needs no introduction because he is a top player,” coach Bernard Mwalala www.football-256.com in an exclusive interview.
“He scored 12 league goals last season and that speaks a lot. I believe he is a good addition to my team,” Mwalala added.
The team has also roped in Sofapaka winger Cliff Kasuti, the speedy winger joined Batoto Ba Mungu last November but failed to cement a place in the Sofapaka team and has now left for Bandari.
“Kasuti is a young player. He did not have a good season at Sofapaka but he remains a quality player. He has to fight for a position in the team. It won’t come easy so he has to perform,” he added.
At the same time the team has parted ways with Nigerian striker Alex Orotomal who joined the team in March from St. Georges of Ethiopia and midfielder Ahmed Ahmad who joined the team at the same time from Mathare United. Bandari is home to Ugandan duo of Fred Nkata and William Wadri.
