Winger Martin Kizza could not hold on to his excitement after joining Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC.
The former Express FC star penned down a two-year contract with the Kitende outfit, running up to 2025.
“I’m happy to be here and going to wear this great shirt with this famous badge, it’s a dream,” he told to the club media.
“I’m really happy and highly motivated to continue living my dream on the pitch and giving my all in a Vipers shirt.”
“Vipers have a wonderful history in football now. I’ve played against the Venoms, I know what it feels like to be in the stadium with the fans behind them.”
“I was with the opposition and now I’m on the right side so I’m excited. It’s a massive club with great players. As I said before, it’s a dream to be here finally,” the forward added.
Kizza joins a winner of the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League championship and the 2021 CECAFA Kagame Cup with Express.
Previously, Kizza also featured for South African sides Free State Stars in 2019, and Royal Eagles in 2020.
The left-footed forward is expected to compete with the likes of Milton Karisa, Abdu Lumala, Abubakar Lawal, Cromwel Rwothomio, and Yunus Sentamu among others for a starting berth.
Besides Express in Uganda, he is a former player at KCCA FC where he started his career in 2014, and SC Villa where he spent about four years, from 2015 to 2019.
