Hashim Sempala and Erisa Ssekisambu were taken off in the first half as Gor Mahia fought from a goal down to hold KCB to a three-all draw in a Kenyan Premier League match played on Thursday at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
The Bankers defeated the Kenyan Premier League leaders by a solitary and three goals inside the first 35 minutes but Frank Ouna’s on course of a famous double before they collapsed and allowed Gor Mahia to salvage a point from the match.
Diminutive midfielder Martin Nderitu gave the Bankers the lead in the 24th minute after pouncing on a loose ball inside Gor Mahia’s penalty area.
Left back Bolton Omwenga made it 2-0 in the 28th minute with a wonderful free kick, 35 yards from goal reminiscent of Lionel Messi’s against Liverpool.

Omwenga got his second and KCB’s third in an equally spectacular fashion. The left-back beat Gor Mahia keeper Shaban Odhoji from long range after spotting him off his line.
Gor Mahia coach Hassan Oktay reacted by taking off Sempala and Ssekisambu for Boniface Omondi and Dennis Oliech.
Captain Haron Shakava pulled a goal back in the 38th minute, heading home from a corner kick, Sammy Onyango made it 2-3 deep into first-half stoppage time.
Gor dominated the second half knocking in search of an equalizer and it finally came deep into stoppage time courtesy of Burundian forward, Francis Mustafa. Gor remains at the top of the log with 59 points while KCB is 12th with 31 points.
