URA FC lost 1-0 to relegation-threatened Kyetume FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (UPL) on Wednesday a the Nakisunga Ssaza Grounds.

The loss frustrates the Tax Collectors’ chances of winning the League title after a decade of trying and failing.

Latif Kiyemba scored for the hosts with only ten minutes left on the clock, and URA had no response to cancelling out the goal.

Kyetume has moved to 23 points, though they remain 14th on the 16-team log, with a positive of moving three points closer to safety.

URA’s loss implies that the Tax Collectors remain in second position on 54 points, one less than table leaders Express who are at 55 after Tuesday’s 4-0 win away to Busoga.

URA host UPDF on Sunday, 23rd May, as Express welcome Kitara to Wankulukuku, while Vipers travel to Bright Stars on Friday.

Saaka Sharif and Kaye Ezera Kizito returned for Kyetume after missing the tie against KCCA Fc on Sun 16th May 2021 with malaria and family issues respectively.

Mujuzi Mustafa trained ahead of Wednesday’s encounter against URA but was not listed on the travelling squad after he sustained an Ankle Injury against Kitara in Masindi.
