No team in the 2018/2019 StarTimes Uganda Premier League has scored more goals than Police except KCCA FC, the former has managed 29 while the latter has managed a staggering 38.
Police’s leading goal scorer is midfielder Juma Balinya with 12 goals, as strikers Ronald Nnyanzi and Johnson Odongo both have two league goals to their names.
Against KCCA FC, Police created enormous chances but they couldn’t bury any until Juma did so in the dying minutes of the game.
“We don’t have a quality striker in our team,” Mubiru told www.football-256.com before adding. “We created chances but we need that quality player to finish them off.”
“Balinya has been that player but his primary role on the team is to create chances for the strikers which he does but there is no one to finish them,” he added.
Mubiru wasn’t happy with the result on the day just like he has not been in all the game his side have played and have not managed to pick a win.
