Onduparaka FC head coach Leo Adraa claimed that his side’s 1-0 loss to KCCA FC is an achievement to the Arua based club.
Onduparaka FC lost it’s sixth game of the 2018/2019 StarTimes Uganda Premier League to KCCA on Tuesday evening at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo.
Adraa said the side has come a long way and they can only get better, especially since their 7-0 loss to the Lugogo side was a talking point two seasons ago.
“The first time we visited here, we lost 7-0, the second time we lost 4-1. Given that this time we lost by 1-0 means we have improved and it’s an achievement to us,” noted Adraa before adding.
“We were away playing an experienced side which has won several trophies. So, a 1-0 loss is not an issue to Onduparaka. We have a young squad still growing we can only get better.”.
Onduparaka are yet to win a game in the second round of the league, the drew one all with Bright Stars before their meeting with KCCA FC.
“We have started the second round of the league with a draw and then a loss but in both games, we were away. It is not so bad for us,” he added.
Onduparaka FC is now on a streak of five games without registering any win in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
The loss have left Onduparaka FC sixth on the 2018/2019 StarTimes Uganda Premier League table with 25 points from 17 outings.
