BUL FC is just one of many Uganda Premier League sides putting their house in order through signing key players with left-back Aggrey Madoi being the latest.
The former Vipers, Police FC and Wakiso Giants left-back who was on Saturday officially unveiled by the Jinja based outfit BUL FC on a two-year contract states that winning silverware is the main priority.
“I am happy to have joined BUL. I promise the fans that I will help the team perform well and at least win a title this season,” Madoi told the club’s media.
“I also want to thank the coach (Arthur Kyesimira) for believing in me and I won’t let him down,” Madoi added.
BUL also unveiled midfielder Ibrahim Mugulusi who has previously played for Vipers and S.C Villa.
Arthur Kyesimira’s charges who finished sixth last season have settled for midtable spots at least for the past three seasons.
The side seemed to be the dark horses of the league last season especially in the first round but a drop in form in January meant that former coach Peter Onen was shown the exit.
Onen’s departure killed the rhythm especially in the second round with players like Robert Mukongotya and Musa Esenu going off the boil.
Madoi’s target, if achieved would earn BUL FC their first league title or domestic cup in the club’s history.
