Central African Republic striker Cesar Manzoki’s desire to play for Tanzanian giants Simba SC continues and he is hopeful that one day a deal will be struck.
The former Vipers SC forward has continuously been linked with a move to Simba but due to some reasons as he explains he is still waiting.
“Simba officials did everything to ensure that I come to Simba but some ill-hearted people stood between and against the deal,” he said at the club’s Annual General Assembly in Dar es Salaam on Sunday.
“These are jealous people who never wanted me to join Simba but if there is a club in Africa I want to play for, then it is Simba,” he added.

Manzoki, a Congolese by birth was invited at the event that was at the Julius Kambrage Nyerere International Conference Centre by incumbent club chairman Murtaza Mangungu who was re-lected into office.
Manzoki was in company of football coach Floent Ibenge, a fellow Congolese native who is now employed by Sudanese side Al Hilal.
After leaving Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC at the start of the season, Manzoki joined Chinese side Dalian Pro on a short-term contract.
Recently reports have indicated that Manzoki who is currently in Tanzania could be set to complete the move to Simba.
However, a strong source has revealed that the sharpshooter has extended his stay with Dalian in China for a year.
